100 ULM Students Receive Batch 5 PT Adaro Indonesia IBFL Scholarships
Banjarmasin – A total of 100 students from Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) were selected as recipients of the “Indonesia Bright Future Leader” (IBFL) Batch 5 Scholarship in 2024. IBFL is a scholarship assistance provided by PT Adaro Energy Indonesia through the Adaro Bangun Negeri Foundation (YABN).
Through this scholarship, PT Adaro provides assistance in the form of tuition fees and living expenses for students until they successfully graduate as bachelors in the next 4 (four) years. The Chairperson of the Adaro Bangun Negeri Foundation, Zuraida Murdia Hamdie, said that with this scholarship assistance, selected students can focus on studying in college and achieving achievements.
“We also hope that students can learn and develop into individuals who are competitive, independent and sustainable,” she said.
In order to celebrate this, a Briefing and Welcoming of IBF Scholarship Recipients Batch 5 was held at the Lecture Theater General Building ULM Banjarmasin. The activity was held on Monday (9/9/2024) which was attended by the management team of PT Adaro, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni, and the Vice Rector for Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems of ULM.
Vice Rector III for Student Affairs and Alumni of ULM Dr. Muhamad Rusmin Nuryadin, S.E., M.Sc., appreciated Adaro’s commitment to always provide scholarships for ULM students with the largest nominal amount routinely every year.
“The Adaro Scholarship is a complete package, because in addition to tuition fees and living expenses, students also receive personality and skills development while in the dormitory,” he said.
It doesn’t stop after students graduate, even alumni from IBFL still get mentoring to pursue a career according to their interests so that they can achieve a bright future as a graduate.
The IBFL Scholarship is specifically targeted at students from Adaro’s operational areas in South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan. The Vice Chancellor III of ULM hopes that in the future more companies will provide scholarships to students as a form of concern in producing highly educated human resources.
