Three ULM Lecturers Passed the Selection for the UBER-KI Mentoring Program
Three Lambung Mangkurat University lecturers passed the selection for the 2024 Leading Mentoring Program with Intellectual Property Potential (UBER-KI) from the Ministry of Education and Culture.
The three lecturers are:
- Ir. Iryanti Fatyasari Nata, ST., M.T., Ph.D with a research proposal entitled “Composition for Making Amine Biocomposite Magnetic Nanoparticles Based on Empty Palm Bunches and Sago Dregs”
- Rodiansono, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., with a research proposal entitled “Process of Making 2-Butanol from Levulinic Acid Using Embedded Ruthenium Catalyst”
- Novianti Adi Rohmanna, S.TP., MT., with a research proposal entitled “Kasgot (Maggot Manure) Products for Organic Fertilizer”
The UBER-KI Assistance Program is a program initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture in order to increase the acquisition of Intellectual Property (KI) protection, especially patents and simple patents obtained from research and community service activities that have been completed.
Through this program, the Ministry of Education and Culture opens opportunities for lecturers to obtain assistance in submitting patent applications and requests for substantive patent examinations.
The assistance provided is knowledge about patents, guidance and consultation on the creation of patent application documents by a team of experts, as well as funding assistance provided in the form of facilitation of patent application submissions and requests for substantive patent examinations, including payment of application fees by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
This year, 99 lecturers including three ULM lecturers passed the selection for the UBER-KI mentoring program. This achievement is certainly proud for Lambung Mangkurat University, especially as clear evidence of ULM’s dedication and commitment in developing science and technology.
The research work carried out by lecturers is a manifestation of the dedication and contribution made to the development of science.
Hopefully this achievement will be a motivation for the entire academic community of Lambung Mangkurat University to continue working and innovating. ULM hopes that research and community service activities carried out by the academic community can have a positive impact on technological progress and development in Indonesia.
