ULM Delegation Advances to KDMI 2024 Final

The Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) delegation team, Bhisma Ridho Romadhon and Zaina Safarina, succeeded in winning a silver medal in the 2024 Regional Level Indonesian Student Debate Competition (KDMI). Apart from that, Bhisma also received the title as the 2nd Best Speaker.

Due to these achievements, these two students from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences walked away as finalists to take part in the national level KDMI which will be held on 15-22 July 2024 at Ciputra University, East Java.

The Indonesian Student Debate Competition (KDMI) is an annual competition held by the National Achievement Center through the Indonesian Talent Development Center (BPTI) of the Ministry of Education and Culture.

The debate format used in KDMI is the British Parliamentary system, a system which is also used in world-level inter-university debate competitions. KDMI not only requires students to be able to express ideas in English, but also to be able to master global knowledge, analyze, make judgments, and convince the public.
