In this digital era and internet development, it is important for public relations to understand social media to maximize its role in this digital era. This is because social media has the ability to reach an audience or public widely and quickly. Social media also allows public relations to interact with the public and get feedback easily.
Activeness on social media can also help public relations build the branding or reputation of institutions/institutions through various informative and interesting content. Social media also generally has tools to analyze or measure the development and effectiveness of shared content.
With these various benefits of social media, there is no doubt that it is important for today’s public relations (digital era) to equip themselves with social media skills.
