Farida Ariani Wins 5 Medals at the Indonesian Kungfu National Championship
Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) is once again proud of the achievements of its students. This time, 2021 Faculty of Law student, Farida Ariani, succeeded in winning 5 medals in the 2024 National Traditional Kungfu Championship. The championship was held by the Indonesian Traditional Kungfu Alliance (AKTI) in Bali on 28 – 30 June 2024.
Farida Ariani left for the championship with 4 other athletes under the auspices of AKTI South Kalimantan. He contributed 5 medals out of a total of 13 medals won by the South Kalimantan Kungfu junior athlete team at the 2024 Traditional Kungfu National Championship.
The following are the 5 (five) medals Farida received:
- Gold medal in the short weapons category for women aged 19-25 years
- Silver medal in the taijiquan 8 category aged 19-25 years
- Bronze medals in the Taijiquan AKTI category aged 19-25 years, Taijiquan 24 aged 19-25 years, and the empty hand category for women aged 19-25 years.
