Second Day of UTBK, Tahfidz Pathway Participants Gather for a Memorization Test of 30 Juz
Banjarmasin – UTMBK Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) entered its second day. On the second day (9/7/2024), examinees who registered via the tahfidz route were scheduled to take the Al Qur’an memorization test at the Rectorate Hall on the 2nd floor.
This year ULM has 21 participants who registered for UTMBK via the tahfidz route with a breakdown of 10 male and 11 female participants.
Lambung Mangkurat University presented 2 (two) examiners for the UTMBK Tahfidz Pathway, namely the Chair of the Banjarmasin Al Qur’an Recitation School, Rusdiansyah, S.Pd., M.Pd.I., and the South Kalimantan Branch Tahfidz Committee Coordinator, Dr. Ali Muammar, M.Ag.
Apart from being tested on memorizing 30 chapters of the Al-Qur’an, UTMBK ULM participants on the Tahfidz route also took an academic potential test. This was carried out in accordance with the direction of the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Education and Culture and based on evaluation results from implementation in previous years.
Through the academic potential test, tahfidz pathway participants who pass are expected to be able to attend lectures optimally while still maintaining their memorization. The academic potential test was carried out to measure the participants’ academic abilities. Meanwhile, the test of tahfidz ability is measured with a memorization weight of 60%, tajwid 20%, and makhorijul letters 20%. The test scheme for tahfidz pathway participants in UTMBK ULM has been implemented since last year.
