Vice Rector Reviews Implementation of UTBK Mandiri
Banjarmasin, 8 July 2024 – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) is again holding the Independent Path Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) in 2024.
ULM UTMBK is carried out in 25 computer laboratories spread across ULM Banjarmasin and takes place in an orderly and smooth manner. More than 4,000 participants from various regions are scheduled to attend alternately to take part in UTMBK ULM from 8-10 July 2024.
Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs, Dr. Iwan Aflanie, dr., M.Kes., Sp.F., SH along with the Acting Head (PLT) of the Head of the Academic and Student Affairs Bureau, Hj. Nieke Rezeki Febrianti S.E., M.M, was seen conducting a direct inspection of the exam location. Both of them ensured that the implementation of this year’s Independent Pathway UTBK was carried out in accordance with the established protocols and met the expected standards.
In his review, Vice Rector I expressed his appreciation to the implementing committee who had worked hard to prepare the Independent Pathway UTBK.
“I am very proud of the hard work of the entire team involved. The exam this time was very good and orderly, everything went as we expected. “This shows that ULM is ready to provide the best for prospective students who want to continue their education here,” said Dr. Iwan
Meanwhile, AULM Caretaker of the head academic bureau, Hj. Nieke Rezeki Febrianti, S.E., M.M, added that her party had made various preparations to ensure there were no technical problems during the exam.
“We have prepared everything carefully, including the infrastructure and technological devices used in UTBK. “We also provide technical assistance for participants who experience difficulties,” she said.
Around 4,300 participants participated in the 2024 UTBK Mandiri ULM pathway, of which there were 31 participants with disabilities and 21 participants who registered via the Tahfiz route. Thousands of participants compete to get places in the various study programs offered.
This exam is one of the independent selection routes provided by ULM to provide wider opportunities for prospective students who wish to study at this leading university in South Kalimantan.
The entire exam process is carried out by implementing strict health protocols to ensure the safety and comfort of participants. The committee also checks participants using a metal detector before entering the room and participants are not allowed to bring cellphones or bags when entering the exam room.
The selection results will be announced on July 22 2024, so that participants can prepare themselves for the next stage.
