ULM Prepares to Implement UTMBK 2024, Most Participants with Disabilities This Year.
Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) is preparing to face the 2024 Independent Selection Examination which will be held for 3 days on 8 – 10 July 2024.
A preparatory meeting with a technical briefing agenda for the ULM UTMBK committee and supervisors was held on Friday (5/7/2024) at the ULM General Building, Banjarmasin.
A total of 4,396 seats were filled by applicants consisting of 4,344 people from the regular route, 21 people from the tahfizh route, and 31 people with disabilities.
This year, the number of disabled applicants at UTMBK ULM is much higher than in previous years. The detailed list of participants with special needs includes:
- Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) as many as 4 people
- Specific learning difficulties of 1 person
- Slow learning as many as 5 people
- 1 person is physically disabled/impaired with motor skills
- Mentally retarded/intellectually challenged as much as 1 person
- 5 people are blind/visually impaired
- Deaf/hard of hearing as many as 16 people
Each disabled registrant will then be contacted by the ULM UTMBK Disabled Coordinator to ascertain the needs or assistance that the registrant will need when taking the exam.
The implementation of UTMBK ULM 2024 is divided into 6 sessions over 3 days. A total of 25 computer laboratories within ULM Banjarmasin were deployed for the implementation of UTMBK ULM 2024.
The direction given to the UTMBK committee and supervisors ranges from checking participant documents, supervision in the test room, to assistance to participants with disabilities.
