Thorough Preparations, ULM’s UTBK SNBT 2024 Ran Smoothly Until the Last Day
The 2024 Computer Based Written Examination (UTBK) National Selection Test (SNBT) wave 1 at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) entered its final day on Tuesday (7/5/2024). Today, only a few UTBK places at ULM are carrying out UTBK until the second session. Until the last session, the attendance of UTBK ULM 2024 participants reached 97%, namely 9,176 participants attended out of 9,484 registered participants.
The 2024 UTBK at ULM will be held on April 30 and May 2-7 2024 with a total of 24 computer laboratory facilities used. A total of 24 computer laboratories are spread across 10 ULM Banjarmasin buildings, namely 3 laboratories in the General Building Library, 2 laboratories in the LPMPP building, 3 laboratories in the Faculty of Engineering, 5 laboratories in the Faculty of Economics and Business, 7 laboratories in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, and 1 laboratory each in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the Rectorate Building.
Until the day of the last session, the implementation of UTBK 2024 at ULM was observed to be smooth. ULM UTBK 2024 implementing coordinator Rifka Ramadhani said that ULM had carried out various preparations regarding UTBK facilities so that implementation could run smoothly. Previously, the committee conducted a survey of the exam locations and checked the condition of each communications laboratory, including the number of PCs, UPS and room plans. The committee also contacted related agencies, such as PLN to ensure there were no power outages and PT. Telkom to optimize internet access during the exam.
To support the smooth running of the 2024 UTBK activities, ULM formed a committee and conducted briefings before the implementation of the UTBK. The UTBK committee is also tasked with ensuring the readiness of the documents and equipment required during the exam, such as ABHP, BAPU, BAST, pen, metal detector, and committee identification.
Based on Rifka’s report as the ULM UTBK implementing coordinator, in the first session on the first day of UTBK SNBT 2024 there were problems from the center when participants answered the exam questions. However, these obstacles could be handled immediately and implementation ran smoothly until the last day.
