Signing of MoU between ULM and Ministry of Investment/BKPM, Encourages IKN Growth
Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia visited ULM on Thursday (2/5/2024). Apart from giving a Public Lecture “Potential for Investment in IKN in Encouraging National Economic Growth” at the ULM Banjarbaru Auditorium, Minister Bahlil also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) and the Indonesian Ministry of Investment/BKPM.
The signing of this MoU was carried out directly by the Rector of ULM Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si, and Expert Staff for Macroeconomics at the Ministry of Investment Imam Soejoedi, S.E., M.M. This signing was witnessed by the Minister of Investment/BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia and Vice Rector III ULM Dr. Muhamad Rusmin Nuryadin, SE., M.Sc.
The scope of the signed Memorandum of Understanding includes:
- Education and training;
- Joint research and studies related to investment planning, policies and regulations, as well as ease of doing business;
- Seminars and joint publications; And
- Other agreed activities.
The Rector of ULM said that the cooperation Memorandum of Understanding would be followed up immediately, especially regarding ULM’s involvement in IKN, ULM’s involvement in carrying out research and sustainable synergy
“What is clear is that the follow-up is in accordance with the three points of collaboration on ULM’s involvement in IKN, ULM’s involvement in carrying out research and sustainable synergy,” concluded the ULM Rector.
He also explained several research plans that would be carried out by ULM at IKN in the near future. Like the business potential that can be done at IKN, especially the need for infrastructure development.
