MTQN XXXV South Kalimantan Province Level Officially Closed
Tapin – After 6 days from April 27 – May 1, the XXXV Provincial MTQ religious festival activities held in Rantau Baru, Tapin Regency officially closed on Thursday (2//5/2024). The Governor of South Kalimantan H. Sahbirin Noor and his wife also attended the closing ceremony along with a number of city and regional officials. The Rector of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) represented by the Vice Rector for Cooperation, Public Relations and Information Systems Dr. Ir. Yusuf Azis, M.Sc, also attended to fulfill the invitation.
At this Provincial Level MTQN event, the caravan from Banjar Regency became the overall champion with a score of 114 points followed by Banjarmasin City and Banjarbaru City. The Governor of South Kalimantan, Sahbirin Noor, in his speech expressed his appreciation for all the efforts and efforts made by the caravans that have taken part in the MTQN at the South Kalimantan level this year.
Dozens of Umrah prize packages were given to the winners who were announced directly at the closing ceremony of MTQN XXXV South Kalimantan Level. The Governor of South Kalimantan Uncle Birin gave symbolic prizes directly to the three representatives who won the Umrah package prizes, namely Dina Andriani from the adult women’s group in Banjarbaru City, Ahmad Fadilah from the young men’s group in Banjarmasin City, and Sultan Nizam from the boys’ group from Banjarmasin City.
Through the momentum of implementing the MTQN at the South Kalimantan Provincial Level, the Governor of South Kalimantan hopes that the winners who will represent the province of South Kalimantan at the National level will achieve proud achievements.
“Hopefully successful achievements by anyone and from any caravan will raise our collective awareness that the Koran is on the menu, the reading that we long for,” said the Governor of South Kalimantan.
