Rector Inaugurates IKA ULM Management for the 2024-2027 Period
Banjarbaru – Rector of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), Prof. Dr. Ahmad, S.E., M.Sc., inaugurated the management of the ULM Alumni Association (IKA) on Tuesday (15/10/2024). The agenda was carried out simultaneously with the 121st ULM Graduation agenda at the ULM Banjarbaru Auditorium.
Based on the Decree of the ULM Rector Number 2320/UN8/KM/2024 dated October 9, 2024, the Rector inaugurated and determined the management of IKA ULM for the 2024-2027 Period with the following details:

IKA ULM was first established in 2005 through Rector’s Decree Number 203/J08/KM/2005. In its role, IKA ULM actively participates in various activities organized by the ULM academic community in an effort to support the implementation of various student activities, and becomes a sponsor for the implementation of scientific activities, both national and international seminars held at ULM.
IKA ULM also always tries to help foster character education by always agitating the spirit of struggle which is used as the value, motto and slogan of ULM, namely Waja Sampai Kaputing, (spirited to never give up, willing to sacrifice) by actively participating in enlivening the commemoration of Dies Natalis every September 21 and the commemoration of the death of Ampera Hero Hasanuddin HM every February 10 according to the time of the deceased’s death on February 10, 1966. In addition, IKA ULM has helped a lot with student activities and sponsored the implementation of various seminar activities held in the ULM environment.
