Through this agreement, PT. Bayan Resources, Tbk is promoting the “Bayan Peduli” Education Scholarship Program for students with disabilities. Dian as the HSE-CD/CSR Manager of PT. Bayan expressed their great commitment through the Bayan Peduli Education Scholarship program.
This program provides benefits, one of which is for students with disabilities. Bayan Peduli is a large umbrella for PT. Bayan Resources, Tbk’s CSR program, one of which focuses on support for the disability sector and inclusivity. “The Bayan Peduli program integrates all aspects of inclusivity into community empowerment programs,” said Dian
This Cooperation Agreement is a form of collaboration between PT. Bayan Resources, Tbk and ULM in facilitating the educational needs of students with disabilities. ULM itself, said the Rector, is a university with quite a lot of disabled students.
So, the presence of Bayan Peduli at ULM is a breath of fresh air for parents/guardians and disabled students who attend this activity. The Rector has high hopes that this can be utilized as well as possible with the help of the academic community
“So I ask all of you to give special attention to our children who need help or special needs in order to complete their education process at ULM,” said the Rector
The Rector also added the importance of learning design and development that can support the academic abilities of disabled students so that they can be given properly. Thus, ULM’s decision to accept students with special needs has been equipped with adequate accommodation for its students.
“How is it related to learning designs and learning development that must be accommodated in totality in the curriculum” he added
With this cooperation agreement, it is hoped that it can increase ULM’s reputation as a disability-friendly university and be motivated in organizing and providing opportunities for students with special needs to get an education and bridge them in achieving their dreams.
“We hope that this effort will not stop here, and will continue to provide the greatest benefits for the community, especially people with disabilities,” said Dian
