ULM Joins the 2024 Do’Sawit Palm Oil SME Festival
Makassar, July 31 – August 4, 2024 – The 2024 Do’Sawit Palm Oil SME Festival with the theme “Empowered Palm Oil SMEs for Successful Palm Oil in Indonesia” was successfully held at Trans Studio Makassar, South Sulawesi. This event showcased various innovative products from Palm Oil SMEs and aimed to strengthen the competitiveness of the Indonesian palm oil industry.
The Kalimantan Palm Oil Study Center from Lambung Mangkurat University also participated in this event by exhibiting various palm oil derivative products, such as lip balm, hand soap, red cooking oil, Banjar habang seasoning, and dish soap made from methyl ester surfactants and eco-enzymes. These products demonstrate the great potential of palm oil in producing high value-added products.
The 2024 Do’Sawit Palm Oil SME Festival was attended by various industry players, academics, and the general public, who had the opportunity to see firsthand the latest innovations and developments in the palm oil industry. This event is also an important place to share knowledge and expand networks between palm oil business players in Indonesia.
With this activity, it is hoped that Palm Oil SMEs in Indonesia will be more competitive and able to make a greater contribution to the national economy.
