47 Dentists Inaugurated and Oath Taken at the 35th Dentist Oath of FKG ULM

Banjarmasin – The Faculty of Dentistry, Lambung Mangkurat University (FKG (ULM) took the 35th Dentist Oath, Tuesday (27/2/2024). A total of 47 dentists were inaugurated and took the oath directly by the Dean of FKG Prof. Dr. drg. Maharani Laillyza Apriasari, Sp.PM., in the Faculty of Dentistry Hall.

This oath-taking was attended directly by the Chancellor of ULM Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE, M.Sc., all members of the Senate of the Faculty of Dentistry, Head of the Gusti Hasan Aman Dental and Oral Hospital, Representatives of the Ulin Banjarmasin Regional Hospital, Representatives of the South Kalimantan Provincial Health Service and all academic members of the ULM Faculty of Dentistry.

ULM Rector, Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE, M.Si., in his speech expressed his appreciation to the new dentists, their parents and families. The Rector said that there are still many areas in Indonesia that really need the presence and contribution of new dentists, including in the South Kalimantan Province region in realizing national development towards a healthy society.

“Today’s society is critical and intelligent, therefore as a dentist you must carry out your service professionally and proportionally,” said the Rector.

Prof. Ahmad said that dentists have a strategic role and are expected to be able to participate in building a prosperous and just Indonesian society.

Director of RSGM Hasan Aman drg. Teguh Hadianto, sp.KG on this occasion gave a speech and conveyed several of the latest developments at RSGM Hasan Aman.

“This development that we have will probably become part of your professional journey, new dentists,” said Drg. Teguh.

Among the latest developments are the construction of OSCE Center rooms, lecture rooms, discussion rooms, the latest and most sophisticated equipment to support education, such as microscopes and camscanners that can be used for printing and dental lasers.

RSGM Director Hasan Aman also conveyed his plans to hold a scientific poster competition for dental and oral health education throughout South Kalimantan for high school, undergraduate and professional levels.
