Rizal and Zairida Won 1st Place at the IAIN Ternate Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Celebration
Rizal and Zairida Isra Alifa, who are members of the Educational Technology Assembly Team, have once again made proud achievements for the campus. Students from the Educational Technology Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Lambung Mangkurat University, Class of 2020, succeeded in becoming 1st Place for the Best Learning Media Design Content at the National Level in the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty Celebration event organized by the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Ternate.
The Learning Media Design Competition is part of a series of events for the IAIN Ternate Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Festival which aims to be a forum for student creativity in developing effective, innovative and creative learning media for the advancement of education in Indonesia. The competition carries the theme “Building Character through Creative Learning Media” and was held on 02 – 12 June 2024.
The Head of the Educational Technology Assembly Team, M. Rizal, revealed that this was the fourth achievement he had achieved in the past month. “Alhamdulillah, this time he managed to get extraordinary appreciation from FTIK IAIN Ternate. Of course, this achievement is the result of the hard work we have done so far. In just one month we have achieved 4 national achievements, of course there is a lot of hard work and effort that must be made to complete media after media for several of these competitions. “So perhaps what needs to be seen is not only the results, but also the process that has been followed so far,” he said.
Apart from that, this 22 year old man also stated that “Even though he is currently in his 8th semester and is in the completion stage of his studies. We continue to be committed to making the best use of this student status. We want to continue to carry the name of our beloved campus. It can’t be felt since 2021 that I participated in the learning media competition for the first time. We received appreciation at Jambi University, now thank God we have arrived at IAIN Ternate. “The long journey of achieving achievements from West to East Indonesia is of course thanks to the support of many parties, one of which is HIMA TEKPEND FKIP ULM,” he added.
It is known that M. Rizal and Zairida Isra Alifa through the Education Technology Assembly Team have achieved many achievements such as 2nd place in the Physics Star Teta Learning Media Competition at Jambi University, 1st place in the Learning Media Competition at the Learning Technology Developer Festival (FETEPERS) Lambung Mangkurat University, 1st place in the Media Competition Learning (LOMAPEL) Educational Days UKM FKIP Mengajar, 3rd Place in the Learning Media Competition (ICT) UNSRI Teaching UKM Education Festival, 1st Place in the National Learning Media Competition EduTech Series Competition Vol 1 Indonesian Educational Technology Student Association (IMATEPSI) at Surabaya State University, Champion 1 National Digital Learning Media Competition Influence of Sociology
Apart from the field of learning media, the Educational Technology Council, which previously only had the form of a team, has transformed and expanded in other fields such as photography, film and essays. The Educational Technology Council also created a Gathering Room program in collaboration with the Merdeka People’s Hall (BARA) to provide a meeting room in the living room to share knowledge. The meeting room is designed as a forum for students to meet, share and discuss and develop various ideas and potential. Carrying the concept of an alternating learning and teaching forum like a social gathering. Meeting rooms facilitate innovation, collaboration and continuous learning among a diverse meeting room congregation.
With this achievement, it certainly further strengthens the position and role of the Educational Technology Student Association, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Lambung Mangkurat University (HIMA TEKPEND FKIP ULM) in facilitating students in various off-campus student activities that can produce achievements. This is also of course thanks to support from the ULM FKIP Educational Technology Study Program.
“Apart from being facilitated by the Educational Technology Student Association, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Lambung Mangkurat University (HIMA TEKPEND FKIP ULM), we also want to continue to contribute so that the positive trend and paradigm of outstanding educational technology students is always maintained. “Through the Educational Technology Council meeting room, of course we can learn from each other,” he concluded.
Hopefully the achievements achieved by M. Rizal and Zairida Isra Alifa can be a positive example for other educational technology students and can be a motivation to continue to contribute to producing proud achievements for our beloved campus as well as supporting the increase in IKU 2, especially in terms of student activities outside campus through the achievements obtained.
