KBMK 2024 Socialization, Encourages ULM Students to Continue Achieving
Banjarmasin- Lambung Mangkurat University’s Student Affairs Division on Friday (15/3/2024) held a Socialization event for the 2024 National Student Competition in Business Management and Finance (KBMK) at the Lecture Theater of the ULM Faculty of Economics and Business. KBMK is a talent event in the vocational field which is held for students. In 2024, KBMK will raise the theme of Exploring Opportunities for Responsible Production and Consumption as well as Implementing a Circular Economy in the era of Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 to accelerate the transformation of an Inclusive and Sustainable National Economy in the Context of the Fields of Business, Management and Finance. Not only to evaluate students’ academic and reasoning abilities in the field of science, but also an effort to bring closer partnerships between academics, the business world and also the government.
This event was attended by Vice Rector III for Student and Alumni Affairs Dr. Muhamad Rusmin Nuryadin, SE., M.Si, Deputy Dean III FEB Dr. Asrid Juniar, S.E., M.M. and 2 speakers, namely Dr. Hastin Umi Anisah, S.E., M.M. as Chair of the PIC KBMK ULM and Sudirwo, S.E., M.M. as Lecturer at FEB ULM.
Dr. Asrid said that this was the first new program to be held and hopefully it could open the door to success for everyone, especially students. Vice Rector III for Student and Alumni Affairs at ULM, Dr. Rusmin said in his speech “In student affairs there are several programs/activities, nationally there are 2 competitive activities.
“This event is very suitable for people in the economic field,” he added
Dr. Rusmin hopes that this competition can be the beginning for ULM to compete in national competitions and make the University proud of its good name.
“Hopefully February can compete fully in this activity, even though only 5 proposals will pass.” he said again and then opened the KBMK event.
In 2024, it is planned to be held in 5 branches of competition, namely:
- Business planning competition,
- Investment research competition,
- Investigative audit finance competition,
- Competition in the field of commercialization of research and appropriate technology, and
- Competition in the field of scientific writing
