MBKM Day: Strengthening Collaboration between Universities and Industry
Banjarmasin – The Chancellor of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) attended MBKM Day 2024 at the General Building Lecture Theater on Thursday (12/12/2024). The activity, which was held at the General Building Lecture Theater SAC 4 Mini ULM, was initiated by the PIC of Merdeka Kampus Merdeka ULM Prof. Dr. Suratno, M.Pd, and was attended by the Vice Rectors, Deans, and PIC Teams within ULM.
The series of activities began with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ULM and Kinobi Indonesia. This MoU focuses on strengthening collaboration between the world of education and industry, supporting the implementation of the MBKM program at ULM.
In line with this, the MBKM Day event was held with the aim of expanding information while increasing the participation of the academic community in the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program.
The Rector Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si expressed his hope that this activity will strengthen the university’s synergy with various strategic partners. By inviting two speakers, it is hoped that this activity can be a forum for evaluating the implementation of the MBKM program throughout 2024 and preparing for implementation in 2025.
“MBKM Day 2024 is an important step to strengthen collaboration between universities and industry. We hope this event can increase the understanding and participation of the academic community in the MBKM program,” he said.
As part of the evaluation, students who participated in the MBKM program also presented their experiences during the program. Until 2024, 5,597 ULM students have participated in nine forms of learning activities offered by MBKM.
