ULM Attends Banjar Regency DMSF Forum, Discusses Sustainability of YESS Program of the Ministry of Agriculture

Banjarmasin – Acting Head of Public Relations of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Andi Nursalam, S.P., attended the Banjar Regency Regional Multi-Stakeholder Forum as a representative of ULM Chancellor Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad, S.E., M.Si. The forum was held on Thursday (10/24/2024) at the Rattan Inn Hotel Banjarmasin.

This District Multi-Stakeholder Forum (DMSF) is the second with the agenda to evaluate the results of DMSF I. All SKPD, Stakeholders, and Offtaker partners of the Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment Support Services (YESS) Programme attended this activity.

The YESS Programme is designed to produce young rural entrepreneurs and produce competent workers in the agricultural sector. Through the Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment Support Service (YESS) Program, the Ministry of Agriculture creates strong and quality millennial entrepreneurs. The program is the result of a collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) and the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD). Through this activity, the progress of the implementation of the YESS 2024 program activities and the design for the sustainability of the YESS program were presented. At the end of the agenda, the Head of Bappedalitbang Banjar Regency led the formulation of cooperation/agreements from the results of the FGD DMSF II.
