The activity was held at the Lecture Theater General Building ULM Banjarmasin on Friday (18/10/2024).
The activity was a collaboration between UPA BK and students of the Communication Science study program, FISIP ULM. Biru Berdaya is a final project project for students of the Communication Science study program in the form of a movement to create a mental health community space. Together with UPA BK, Biru Berdaya strives to provide more comprehensive mental health support.
Bincang Berdaya is expected to have a positive impact related to increasing awareness of the academic community regarding the importance of mental health. In addition to seminars and socialization, in the future Biru Berdaya will also hold training to maintain mental health. “Hopefully, this program can increase the awareness of the academic community and improve ULM’s image towards mental issues,” said Dr. Yuanita Setyastuti, S.IP., M.Si., Head of the Communication Science Study Program.
In line with that, the Head of UPA BK, Dr. Ririanti Rachmayanie J., S.Psi., M.Pd., said that UPA BK is currently opening counseling guidance services to the ULM academic community, both to students, lecturers, and education staff.
