Prospective Dentistry Students Take MMPI Test
 Banjarmasin – After passing the CBT test which was carried out long before and the health test which was carried out last Monday, prospective Dentistry students must also take a series of psychological tests on Tuesday (6/7/2024) which were carried out for 1 day at the 3rd floor of the RKB Faculty of Dentistry Building.
The tests given to 73 prospective Dentistry students at the ULM FKG Faculty of Dentistry include MMPI or personality tests. The MMPI (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory) test is a psychological tool used to measure various aspects of an individual’s personality and psychopathology.
This test is useful for helping to diagnose various mental disorders such as depression, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. So that by carrying out this test, students can provide a more appropriate and effective treatment plan from an early age based on the personality profile and psychopathology of the individual concerned
Psychologist of the Counseling & Career Guidance Unit (UKBK) FKG Galuh Dwinta Sari, M.Psi. explained that the implementation of interest tests, work endurance tests were also carried out considering the need for more in-depth data that must be collected regarding their readiness in the world of work.
“Because coass needs a lot of energy and stamina to take care of patients who want to come for treatment, so we need to check.” she said.
The implementation of this test will be data for the faculty, especially UKBK FKG in providing an approach or intervention to the problems faced by its students through data collected through today’s activities.
