This is in line with what was conveyed by the Head of the Rer Integrated Lab Academic Support Unit. Nat. Liling Triyasmono, S. Farm. He explained that this activity was a support for educational staff, especially laboratory managers within the ULM environment, to improve skills and BNSP competencies.
“This activity is HR training, training is given twice and it is possible that it can be added if there is optimization later, it will be sent again and the hope is that it can increase competency, skills and BNSP,” he said.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Iwan Aflanie in his speech emphasized 3 important keys in this activity, namely quality, certification and career path. According to him, quality is the main support in seeing a goal. Moreover, if you look at ULM’s aspirations to become a World Class University (WCU), quality must be a main concern, especially in the HR field.
Therefore, he really appreciated this activity and encouraged the FGD participants who attended so that this activity could pave the way for improving human resources at ULM, especially for laboratory managers.
“We have to run to catch up and meet the standards of entering the world rankings, which is not easy. “Where should we start? I’m sure that if we don’t have a vision and plan, then it’s all just figment,” concluded the Vice Rector.
