This National Defense Seminar is a very strategic activity, especially for ULM Law Faculty students considering that Indonesia as the largest archipelagic country in the world has its own challenges in defending its sovereignty. One of the biggest challenges faced is hybrid threats, namely threats that combine military and non-military threats. This threat can take the form of cyber attacks, propaganda, and information warfare which can weaken the stability of the country. In facing this threat, legal education and the actualization of national defense have a very important role in becoming a tool to maintain the unity and integrity of the Nation.
This event ended with an interactive question and answer session, where seminar participants asked questions and received direct answers from the speakers. It is hoped that this seminar can increase awareness and understanding of the importance of defending the country and the role of law in dealing with hybrid threats, as well as encouraging the younger generation to participate more actively in efforts to defend the country.
By holding this seminar, the ULM Faculty of Law reiterates its commitment to supporting efforts to increase legal education and awareness of defending the country among students and the wider community.
