61 Students took the XXth Nurse Appointment and Oath, Ready to Serve and Carry Out Duties in the Community
Banjarbaru – The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Lambung Mangkurat University (FKIK ULM) again held the XXth Nurse Appointment and Oath on Tuesday (8/5/2024), the event which took place at the FKIK ULM Building was attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at ULM Dr. Iwan Aflanie, dr. M.Kes., Sp.F., s.h., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Dr. Dr. Istiana, M.Kes along with the Deputy Deans, and representatives of the Chair of the FKIK Senate Ns. Agianto. S.Kep M.N.S. Ph.D.

The Nurse Professional program is an advanced program for students who want to become professional nurses. Students who take part in the Nursing Professional Program are students who have passed the academic stage and hold a Bachelor of Nursing degree (S1 Nursing).
In education, nursing education students undertake direct practical learning. So that students can easily adapt to receive authority in providing nursing care to patients in hospitals, clinics, health centers, communities, nursing homes, and others.
Therefore, by holding the Nurses Oath event this time, the 61 students who were accompanied by their families and relatives to take the oath have pledged themselves to be able to serve and carry out their nursing duties as well as possible.
The Vice Rector really hopes that the 61 Nurses will always dedicate themselves to the community. “Hopefully these nurses from ULM are ready to serve the community.” he concluded
With this XXth Nurse Oath-taking event, the number of Nurse Graduates produced by FKIK ULM has increased to 651 graduates.
