Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) in collaboration with the Belmawa Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia held a technical guidance activity for Training of Trainers (ToT) for Assessors and Past Learning Recognition Program Managers (RPL). This activity was carried out for 2 (two) days, 3 – 4 May 2024 at the G’sign Hotel Banjarmasin.
Prof. Dr. Hamsi Mansur, S.Pd., M.Pd., as Chief Executive of this activity aims to equalize perceptions regarding the past learning recognition program. RPL is recognition of a person’s learning achievements obtained from formal, non-formal, informal education, and/or work experience as a basis for continuing formal education and for equivalency with certain qualifications.
Through these technical guidance activities, Prof. Hamsi said that it could produce RPL managers and assessors for study program lecturers within ULM.
“In the future, it is hoped that we will be able to provide assessors or assessments for prospective students who will take part in the past learning recognition program,” said Prof. Hamsi.
ULM Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., in his speech said that the RPL technical guidance activity was a good step. He also said that RPL was an important thing for ULM to pay attention to.
“ULM’s task is to educate the nation’s life. Through this RPL, we will collaborate with regional and district-city governments and the province of South Kalimantan,” he said.
