SKK Migas Holds Public Lecture “Just Start First! Be Innovative, Be Entrepreneur”

Banjarmasin- In the framework of implementing the 2024 SKK Migas – Cooperation Contract Contractors (KKKS) work program and socializing the activities of the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry, SKK Migas – KKKS which operates in the South Kalimantan region held a Public Lecture with the theme “Just start first!, Be Innovative, Be Entrepreneur” which was held on Thursday (25/4/24) in the Lecture Theater building, Faculty of Economics and Business, Lambung Mangkurat University.

Also present and opening the event, Vice Rector IV of Lambung Mangkurat University, Dr. Ir. Yusuf Azis, M.Sc. The Vice Rector also expressed high appreciation for the implementation of activities aimed at providing students or other participants with an in-depth understanding of the upstream oil and gas industry, including the process of exploration, production and distribution of oil and gas.

The upstream oil and gas industry refers to the industrial segment related to the exploration, drilling, production and management of oil and gas from natural resources found below the earth’s surface. The term “upstream” in this context refers to the initial stage of the oil and gas industry value chain, which focuses on activities to explore and exploit these natural resources.

“This will provide insight and understanding for students, for example what the role of SKK Migas is.” Head of SKK Migas South Kalimantan, Azhari Idris said they want children to see the future as beautiful.

At this event there were also speakers present who gave sharing sessions to students including Mr. Damar Setyawan as Senior Operations Analyst for SKK Migas Kalimantan and Sulawesi, Rivaldy as Owner of Homes Group and Owner of enhanced creative design marketing agency, Rahmat K, S.Sos as Village Secretary Tabalong Regency, and Jumria as Owner of Mama Dini’s Pepare Leaf Cold Pupur.
