FKIK ULM Becomes Favorite First Choice for UTBK-SNBT 2025
The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) has again recorded itself as the study program with the most applicants in the 2025 Computer-Based Written Examination for the National Selection Based on Tests (UTBK-SNBT).
Head of the ULM Academic Bureau, Feby, said that FKIK dominates the number of applicants, both in the total participant category and based on first choice.
“This high interest shows that professions in the health sector are still the favorite for prospective students,” she said.
On the other hand, the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) ULM is recorded as the study program with the fewest applicants when viewed from the first choice data.
This year, UTBK participants at ULM have more freedom than the previous year, with the opportunity to choose up to four study programs across faculties. In the previous year, participants were only allowed to choose a maximum of two study programs.
Of the total 10,129 participants who registered through the 2025 SNBT pathway, ULM only provided 3,550 seats according to the capacity stipulated in the ULM Rector’s Decree Number 054/UN8/PD/2025. Thus, only around 35 percent of participants have the opportunity to pass through this pathway.
The high enthusiasm of participants towards FKIK shows the consistency of public interest in the health sector, while also emphasizing the position of FKIK ULM as the main choice in accepting new students this year.
