Banjarmasin – The Faculty of Dentistry, Lambung Mangkurat University (FKG ULM) held a Workshop on the Preparation of Workloads for Undergraduate and Professional Program Lecturers of the Faculty of Dentistry ULM and the Sinta update on Saturday (7/27/2024). The event, which was held at the Treepark Hotel, was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. drg. Maharani Laillyza Apriasari, Sp.PM who attended online, and was attended by all lecturers in the FKG ULM environment.
Three speakers were present at this workshop, namely Dr. Yuslena Sari, S.Kom., M.Kom., (Lecturer at ULM), Dr. Asty Samiaty Setiawan, drg., M.Kes., (FKG UNPAD), and drg. Margareta Rinastiti, M.Kes., Sp.KG. Subsp.KR(K)., Ph.D., from UGM.
The preparation of Lecturer Workload (BKD) is an important process in higher education management that aims to ensure that lecturers have a balanced distribution of tasks and in accordance with their competencies and responsibilities.
This workshop was also held to coincide with the moment of filling out the BKD. Given the large number of BKD fillings that are still not as expected, it is hoped that this workshop can be a way for lecturers to fill out the BKD as expected. This is because many research results are written repeatedly and also the placement of writing at home is not appropriate.
Not only that, this activity is also in order to update Sinta. It is known that SINTA (Science and Technology Index) is a research information system used in Indonesia to measure and monitor the academic and research performance of lecturers and researchers. Thus, Sinta becomes an important recording tool for lecturers in terms of dedication and products produced by lecturers. A certain score on Sinta is also one of the requirements of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology for research grant requirements. Therefore, increasing the Sinta score is certainly something that lecturers are looking forward to.
“The steps to increase our Sinta score require ULM FKG lecturers to create Sinta accounts, plan research or internal independent community service from FKG so we will try to increase the Sinta score,” said one of the FKG lecturers, Riky Hamdani, S.K.M., M.Epid.
