Prof. Dr. Muhammad Erham, S.H., M.H., Passed Away
Professor at the Faculty of Law, Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Prof. Dr. H. M. Erham Amin, S.H., M.H., died, Saturday (15/6/2024), at 17.41 WITA at the age of 66 years.
The deceased was buried at Alkah Amandit, Hulu Sungai Selatan on Sunday (16/6/2024), after previously praying at the Al-Jihad Mosque, Cempaka, Banjarmasin on Sunday afternoon.
ULM Vice Rector I Dr. Iwan Aflanie, dr. Sp.F., S.H., and Dean of the ULM Faculty of Law Dr. Achmad Faisal, S.H., M.H., expressed his deepest condolences to the extended family of Prof. Erham.
Condolences were not only given by the ULM academic community, but also from his professional circle.
“We are deeply saddened by the death of Prof Dr Erham Amin SH MH Professor at the ULM Faculty of Law. May his deeds of worship be accepted by Allah SWT. And the families left behind are given fortitude. Amen.” reads the flyer shared on the Borneo Law Firm Facebook account.
Prof. Dr. H. M. Erham Amin, S.H., M.H., was inaugurated as Professor of Law at Lambung Mangkurat University in September 2022.
Apart from working as a lecturer, he is also known to be active among legal practitioners in South Kalimantan.
The deceased is known to have served as Chair of the South Kalimantan KNPI and was also a member of the Indonesian DPR during the New Order era.
