FKG ULM Holds Vision and Mission Workshop, Targeting Excellence and International Accreditation

Banjarmasin – Faculty of Dentistry, Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Banjarmasin held a Vision and Mission Workshop at the Rattan Inn Hotel Banjarmasin on Thursday (13/6/2024). This activity aims to determine and develop the vision and mission of the ULM Faculty of Dentistry by inviting several relevant stakeholders to discuss directly.

Apart from that, holding this activity is also in order to support the achievement of Main Performance Indicators (IKU) 8 for Higher Education and Higher Education Services, namely regarding national and international accreditation. This is also related to preparations for re-accreditation of FKG ULM to achieve the target of becoming a faculty with superior accreditation status in 2026.

This activity was attended by various relevant stakeholders, starting from the provincial, city and district Health Services, Commission 4 Health of the provincial and city DPRDs of Banjarmasin, Community Health Centers throughout Banjarmasin City and Banjar Regency, to NGOs Observing Health Education. Representatives from hospitals affiliated with FKG ULM were also present, including from RSGM Gusti Hasan Aman, RSUD Ulin, RSUD Ansari Saleh, RSUD Idaman, and RSUD Sultan Suriansyah. The Chair of the FKG ULM Alumni Association and representatives of PDGI Banjarmasin City were also invited to this activity.

Prof. Dr. Drg. Maharani LA., Sp.PM., as Dean of the ULM Faculty of Dentistry said that this activity invited Dr. Iwan Aflanie, dr. M.Kes., Sp.F., S.H., and Vice Rector 4 Usakti Prof. Dr. Drg. Tri Erri Astoeti, M.Kes., FISDPH., FISPD as speaker.

“FKG is trying to get Superior accreditation, so that in the future it can be included in international accreditation,” said Prof. Maharani in her speech.
