ULM Accounting Study Program Students Won 2nd Place in the National Accounting Olympiad
A team of students from the Bachelor of Accounting study program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Lambung Mangkurat University (FEB ULM) succeeded in achieving achievements in the 2024 Jambi Accounting Competition National Seminar (JACSEN) Accounting Olympiad. The team was led by Agustina Rahmah, Tivani Laila Thamrin, and Manda Abidah Adelia. won 2nd place after competing in the final round on Monday (6/5/2024) at Jambi University.
The 2024 JACSEN Accounting Olympiad takes the theme “Preparing Gen-Z with CASH (Competitive, Accurate, Smart, and Honest) for a Better Future of 5.0 Globalization Era”. Previously, participants took part in an online preliminary selection process and competed with various universities in Indonesia. Agustina said that their team made preparations by distributing several materials to each team member to study. After that, they then gather and discuss the material that each of them has studied so that each member can understand and comprehend each material.
On March 4 2024 Agustina’s team was declared to have qualified for the semi-final stage, then on April 4 they were also declared successful and eligible to take part in the final round on May 4 2024 at Jambi University.
Agustina and the team feel proud of the achievements they have achieved and will continue to learn to achieve further achievements in the future. They also felt they received a lot of support in participating in this competition. “We received support from faculties and universities in the form of accommodation for our departure and return to take part in the final round offline in Jambi,” said Agustina.
