Banjarmasin – After being held for two days on 11-12 May 2024, Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) announced the winners of the 2024 Lambung Mangkurat University Student Arts Week (PEKSIMA ULM) on Monday (13/5/2024). This activity was also carried out at the same time as an appreciation event for the winners of the 2024 Lambung Mangkurat University student competition.
The event was held and initiated by the Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs at ULM Dr. Rusmin Nuryadin, S.E, M.Sc., this took place at the Lecture Theater General Building ULM. Dr. Rusmin invited officials within ULM, both the Rectorate and Faculty, especially the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni to attend this activity. Apart from that, don’t forget the PiC Team for the 2024 ULM Student Arts Week and all the participants of the 2024 ULM Student Arts Week, especially the participants who won 1st, 2nd 3rd place in ULM level competitions such as the National University Debating Championship (NUDC), KDMI, National Mathematics Olympiad and Natural Sciences (ONMIPA), and Selection of Outstanding Students (Pilmapres).
Dr. Rusmin said that the appreciation given for this activity was not the last appreciation that would be given considering the number of student achievements which were increasing day by day. He said that holding this activity also aims to provide motivation to students to improve their talents and make achievements for the good name of their alma mater.
“We will continue to encourage it to continue to contribute good value to Lambung Mangkurat University,” said Dr. Rusmin.
He added that a more lively and bigger appreciation would be held next December. This event is intended for achievers at national and international levels. This is a form of ULM’s attention not only to achievers or those who will or are currently undergoing competitions, but also to all ULM students to always contribute to making the University proud both nationally and internationally. Of course, this is also related to ULM’s achievements in Main Performance Indicator 2 which really depends on how many opportunities students get outside campus, one of which is by winning championships in both national and international competitions.
“We will continue to encourage us to continue to contribute good value to Lambung Mangkurat University, so that the IKU 2 that we expect from students can be maximized,” he added.
