Starting Today: UTBK 2024 at Lambung Mangkurat University will be attended by 9,484 participants
Implementation of the Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) in the 2024 National Selection Based on Test (SNBT) starts today, Tuesday, April 30 2024. Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) is one of the universities administering the test.
As many as 9,484 participants from various regions in Indonesia will take part in UTBK at ULM. The test is scheduled to take place over 7 days, namely April 30 and May 2-7 2024. The test will be held in 13 sessions at 10 computer-based test facility locations owned by ULM, namely the Laboratory in General Building, LPMPP Building, FISIP Building, Faculty of Law Building, Building Faculty of Engineering, FKIP Building, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry Building and Rectorate Building. Each session will be attended by 755 participants.
Based on monitoring, the test implementation in session 1 on the first day went smoothly. In the first session, 755 participants were scheduled to take part. However, there were 27 participants who were not present when the test started.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Iwan Aflanie, dr. M.Kes., Sp.F., S.H., expressed his appreciation to the UTBK fighters. “Hopefully the UTBK implementation will run smoothly until the last day,” he said when interviewed.
The UTBK test is a computer-based test which is held as one of the national state university entrance tests. This test is used to predict prospective students who will be able to complete their studies at state universities (PTN) well and on time. The test is held at a number of test-organizing universities.
This year, there are 9,484 participants taking UTBK at ULM in 2024. There are two types of questions tested at UTBK 2024, namely the Scholastic Potential Test (TPS) and Literacy test in English, Literacy test in Indonesian, and Mathematical Reasoning.
