Banjarmasin \u2013 Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) has once again demonstrated its achievements on the national stage by achieving 45th overall ranking in Indonesia in the Scimago Institutions Rankings (SIR) 2024. This achievement confirms ULM’s position as one of the leading universities in Indonesia, especially in the South Kalimantan region. In the SIR 2024 ranking, ULM managed to achieve several impressive percentiles:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 58th Overall percentile<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 47th Research percentile<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 85th Innovation percentile<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 30th Societal percentile<\/span><\/p>\n

These percentiles demonstrate ULM’s strengths in various aspects, from research to innovation and social impact. The high ranking in innovation, for example, reflects ULM’s significant contribution to the development of new technologies and discoveries that benefit the wider community. SIR 2024 also categorizes ULM’s scientific output into 19 major scientific fields. Here are ULM’s rankings in Indonesia in several main scientific fields:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Business, Management and Accounting: 35<\/span><\/p>\n

This ranking shows that ULM has significant strengths in various scientific disciplines, with the highest achievement in Pharmacology, Toxicology and Pharmaceutics which is ranked 13th in Indonesia. The Earth and Planetary Sciences field also shows strong performance with a ranking of 25th.<\/span><\/p>\n

Scimago Institutions Rankings (SIR) uses a comprehensive methodology to assess the performance of higher education institutions worldwide. This methodology includes three main indicators:<\/span><\/p>\n
