Banjarmasin – The Educational Administration Study Program at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) has received the 2024 APMAPI Award for excellent achievement in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education as well as commitment, dedication, and high loyalty to the organization and activities of the Indonesian Educational Management\/Administration Study Program Association (APMAPI). “The ULM Educational Administration Study Program has given everything to produce outstanding Educational Administration graduates while supporting the progress of APMAPI as an organization,” said the General Chairperson of APMAPI, Prof. Imron Arifin, in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, on Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Ahmad Suriansyah, as the founder and manager of the ULM Educational Administration Study Program, was honored to receive the APMAPI Award on behalf of all lecturers, staff, and students. According to Prof. Imron, the Educational Administration Study Program is now in great demand by high school graduates who want to continue their higher education.<\/span><\/p>\n

ULM has become the main destination for people in South Kalimantan and surrounding provinces to continue their studies, along with the rapid progress of the Educational Administration Study Program. Currently, there is a Master of Educational Administration program with superior accreditation (A) which has achieved a score of 391, the highest in ULM’s history. In addition, a doctoral program is also available at S3 Educational Administration, so for those who want to continue their studies, everything can be done at ULM.<\/span><\/p>\n

“This campus is truly committed to producing experts in the Educational Administration Study Program to support the world of Indonesian education which needs individuals with the capacity as managers, from the educational unit level to the policy level,” explained Prof. Imron.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the other hand, Prof. Imron also appreciated ULM’s success in hosting the XII APMAPI National Working Conference as well as the National Working Meeting of the Indonesian Association of Management and Educational Administration Graduates (ISMAPI) in Banjarmasin on 23-26 October 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

The big agenda of the two interrelated organizations is also combined with an international seminar to formulate the transformation of educational management in realizing a quality golden generation through aspects of leadership, empowerment, and digitalization.<\/span><\/p>\n

This international seminar was attended by more than 250 participants from Sabang to Merauke, including 11 speakers and 68 presenters, as well as 35 participants who attended online. Meanwhile, Prof. Suriansyah admitted that he was grateful and proud of the award received by the ULM Educational Administration Study Program. “This appreciation is for all those who have dedicated themselves to the progress of the study program in order to produce the best graduates who support the world of education,” said the ULM education expert. The series of APMAPI National Working Conference and ISMAPI National Working Meeting in Banjarmasin ended with the planting of tree seedlings in the ULM campus environment in Banjarmasin. The General Chairperson of ISMAPI, Prof. Ibrahim Bafadal, stated that the planting of trees was a form of concern from the academic community for a comfortable and beautiful environment for the sustainability of living things on earth. “The spirit is also for this organization to continue to grow to oversee the progress of the world of education in Indonesia as we all hope,” he said.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
