Jakarta – The Wasaka Adaro Team of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Lambung Mangkurat (FT ULM) has again won an achievement in the 2024 Energy Efficient Car Contest (KMHE). This year, the Wasaka Team won 3rd place in the Urban Category of the Gasoline Internal Combustion Engine Class. This year, KMHE participants will be required to create energy-efficient vehicles in two categories, namely Prototype and Urban Concept. This national-level competition will take place at the Ancol Carnaval Circuit, Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, Jakarta, 5-10 October 2024. The Wasaka Adaro FT Team consists of<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n

    Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology Abdul Haris said, in this modern era, technological developments and demands for sustainability are important pillars in the national development process. Energy-efficient vehicles are not just a trend, but a need that must be realized. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

    “The KMHE event is a real manifestation of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in realizing these important pillars,” said Director General Abdul Haris at the opening of the 2024 national KMHE.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

    He added that the KMHE event is very relevant to future challenges. According to him, this competition not only encourages students to design and build vehicles with high fuel efficiency, but also instills awareness that the future of transportation is in their hands. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

    KMHE has an important role in developing students’ interests, talents, creativity, innovation, and critical thinking in seeing problems in everyday life regarding energy-efficient vehicles. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

    “This event is also proof of students’ creative and innovative work as a result of the implementation of the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM),” he said.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
