Banjarmasin – The Grand Launching of Wirausaha Merdeka 2024, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) has been held. The event was held on Friday (4\/10\/2024) at the Lecture Theater General Building ULM Banjarmasin. Carrying the theme “Empowering Digital Entrepreneurship” at this event, ULM hopes that the implementation of WMK this year can produce good collaboration between the field of entrepreneurship and the progress of the digital era.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The current rapid digital development automatically demands innovations from various fields, including the field of entrepreneurship. Therefore, it is hoped that the younger generation can create innovations in the field of digital-based entrepreneurship. This Grand Launching presents several speakers, including Dian Utoro as CEO of PT. Solo Abadi, Dr. Nila Tristiarini, M.Sc., CSRA as the central team of Wirausaha Merdeka, and Ikhsan Badruz Zaman as CEO of SPD Speedometer.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“Hopefully the material provided by the speakers will motivate and broaden our horizons so that we can continue to create innovations and develop them,” said ULM’s Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Iwan Aflanie, dr. M.Kes., Sp.F., SH.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

In 2024, Lambung Mangkurat University again had the opportunity and became one of 38 universities selected as the Independent Entrepreneurship Implementing University (PTP). There were 326 participants selected to take part in the WMK at ULM, of which 232 were students from ULM and 94 students from various other universities.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

This year, WMK participants at ULM not only included students from universities in Kalimantan, but also universities from Java. There are a total of 9 universities that send their students to take part in WMK at ULM, namely STKIP Paris Barantai Kotabaru, Balikpapan University, Sari Mulia University, UNISA, Daarwan Ali University, Widya Nusantara University, Surabaya State University, Palangkaraya University, and Merdeka Malang University.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The implementation of WMK 2024 is designed until December 31, 2024 where there are 3 stages of activities, namely the Pre-Immersion, Immersion, and Post-Immersion stages. At the pre-immersion stage, lectures are held in class to explore entrepreneurial ideas, both from practitioners and sources of entrepreneurial material. As for the immersion stage, students will visit UKM (Small and Medium Enterprises) and industries in the Banjarmasin, Banjarbaru, Balikpapan, and Kotabaru areas.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

At the immersion stage, participants are expected to be able to learn directly from mentors and practitioners in UKM and industry as well as learn to design the realization of entrepreneurial ideas. Then in the post-immersion stage, participants will be given training until the BNSP certification exam for Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Industry, and Graphic Design.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

ULM Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Rusmin Nuryadin, S.E., M.Sc., said in his report that later a Bootcamp activity will also be held for WMK participants. In the bootcamp, participants will be given training in making prototypes, product exhibitions, and business matching.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“This WMK activity is expected to have an impact on the quality of graduates in the field of entrepreneurship and have a positive impact on increasing the University’s IKU,” said Dr. Rusmin.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
