Bandung \u2013 The Public Relations (Humas) Team of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) attended the Education Forum to Improve Understanding of Literacy and the Ability to Implement Public Information Disclosure. The forum was held by the Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia for 2 (two) days, 5-6 September 2024 in Bandung, West Java.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia invited 43 Public Agencies to send Information and Documentation Management Officers (PPID) to the forum. This is related to the 2022-2026 KIP-RI Strategic Plan to improve the professionalism and competence of PPID in Public Agencies.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the first day, the ULM Public Relations team had the opportunity to listen to several materials related to public information management. For one full day, there were 5 materials presented by different speakers, including:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Awareness of Public Information Disclosure by the Commissioner for Advocacy, Socialization, and Education of KIP-RI, Samrotunnajah Ismail;<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Governance of Public Information Documentation by ANRI;<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. List of Public Information & Excluded Information by the Commissioner for Research and Documentation of KIP-RI, Rospita Vici Paulyn;<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Management Commitment in Implementing Public Information Disclosure by the Deputy Chairperson of KIP-RI, Arya Sandhiyudha; and<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Public Information Dispute Resolution & Mitigation by the Commissioner for Public Information Dispute Resolution of KIP-RI, Syawaludin.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In the evening, the activity was continued with an in-depth discussion with the KIP-RI team. Through this discussion, each Public Agency can convey obstacles or gain a better understanding regarding the implementation of public information disclosure.<\/span><\/p>\n

    On the second day, the group of participants together with the KIP-RI team were scheduled to conduct a study visit to PT KAI, Padjajaran University (Unpad) and the Bandung City Provincial Government. At the Unpad Jatinangor Campus, various tips were explained for achieving the Informative predicate, DIP and PPID managers and services at ULT.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The Head of KIP-RI said that this educational forum was aimed at 43 Public Agencies that are included in the Towards Informative Category, one of which is Lambung Mangkurat University. In addition to improving the competence and professionalism of Public Agency PPID, the forum also aims to increase PPID awareness of public information disclosure and increase access to public information for the public.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The Commissioner for Advocacy, Socialization, and Education of KIP-RI said that educational and mentoring activities were carried out for all Public Agencies in each category. This activity is an effort by KIP-RI to increase the commitment of Public Agencies in implementing public information disclosure in their respective Public Agencies.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
