Banjarmasin \u2013 Driving safety is an important aspect of modern life, especially with the increasing number of vehicles on the road. Every year, traffic accidents are the leading cause of injury and death worldwide, including in Indonesia.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The importance of maintaining safety while driving is not only related to efforts to reduce the number of accidents, but also to protect lives, prevent serious injuries, and minimize economic losses caused by accidents. Traffic accidents not only affect the victims, but also their families, communities, and the country. Economic losses due to accidents, including medical care costs, vehicle damage, and loss of productivity can sometimes be quite expensive.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

To reduce fatalities in vehicle accidents on the highway and provide knowledge regarding the rights received by drivers when a traffic accident occurs, PT. Jasa Raharja together with PT. Trio Motor held a Safety Riding Seminar at the FEB Lecture Theater.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The activity which was held on Thursday (26\/9\/2024) was warmly welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Prof. Dr. Ahmad Yunani, S.E., M.Si. Attended by dozens of ULM students who came from various faculties at the Banjarmasin Campus such as the Faculty of Economics and Business, Law, FISIP, FKIP, and the Faculty of Engineering, this seminar activity carried the theme “Proud to be the #cari_aman Generation”.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The presence of PT. Jasa Raharja in this Safety Riding seminar activity is part of the manifestation of Jasa Raharja’s presence as one of the pillars of road safety. Moreover, from the existing data based on the survey, the majority of accident victims are of productive age and students, so this seminar is expected to provide education to ULM students on how to anticipate traffic accidents.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“This seminar is held to increase knowledge for all of you to be more careful when driving,” said the Head of PT. Jasa Raharja, Deddy Irawan<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Students were also given a lot of explanations regarding the role of Jasa Raharja in the safety of drivers on the highway so that the invited guests were equipped with knowledge about the rights they get and the obligations that must be fulfilled.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

In line with Deddy Irawan, the Dean of FEB, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Yunani, S.E, M.Si. Also believes that not a few ULM students become victims of accidents. So he is grateful for the implementation of this seminar to open the eyes and minds of students to be able to realize the importance of maintaining safety while driving.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

“There really needs to be a socialization of seminar guidance like this to educate,” said Ahmad Yunani<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Driving safety is also the focus of Trio Motor, where this company is not only trying to sell products but also has a responsibility to be able to educate its users. This activity was also recognized by Yoga Prabowo as the Safety Riding Supervisor at Trio Motor as an annual agenda that is carried out and aimed at all groups, not only students.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The activity filled by the speakers, namely Satri A. Susilo as Supervisor at PT. Jasa Raharja, AKP Edwin Widya Dirotsaha Putra as Head of Traffic Police of Banjarmasin and Muhammad Sultan Hasan Saputra as Safety Riding Instructor PT. Trio Motor, is expected to provide students with lessons and knowledge related to driving safety.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
