Banjarmasin \u2013 Three new officials at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) were inaugurated on Friday, August 9, 2024. ULM Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si., was present to officiate the appointments at the 4th Floor Postgraduate Hall, ULM, Jalan Brigjend H. Hasan Basri, Banjarmasin.<\/p>\n
The newly appointed officials are Prof. Dr. Dr. Syamsul Arifin, M.Pd., FISPH FISCM, as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences for the 2024-2028 term; Hj. Nieke Rezeki Febriantie, S.E., M.M., as Head of the Academic and Student Affairs Bureau; and Akhmad Iskandar, S.Pd., M.Pd., as Head of the Finance and General Affairs Bureau.<\/p>\n
The Rector expressed hope that these appointments will enable the new officials to maximize their strengths in fulfilling their duties. He also viewed this as a challenge for them to synergize and contribute to the development of ULM as a State University with Public Service Agency (BLU) status.<\/p>\n
\u201cI hope that with today\u2019s appointments, ULM will continue to advance and grow,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Prof. Syamsul Arifin expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him to lead the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. He is committed to advancing the faculty by enhancing accreditation achievements and pursuing international accreditation.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs part of this program, we plan to add new study programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and specialist professional levels,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n
This appointment aligns with the Rector’s vision for these new officials to contribute to maintaining and improving the faculty’s accreditation standards, particularly for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.<\/p>\n
