Lambung Mangkurat University Educational Technology students through the Educational Technology Assembly Team have again achieved achievements in the fields of learning media and photography at the national level. This achievement was achieved through a competition organized by Medan State University, namely the Competition of Innovation and Creation (CODE) in 2024. This achievement is also the sixth award received by the Educational Technology Assembly Team in the past 1 month.<\/p>\r\n

The 2024 Competition of Innovation and Creation (CODE) carries the theme “Preserving local culture to prepare for a Golden Indonesia 2045 through digital technology” and was held from 1 May to 24 June 2024. In the 2024 CODE activities, 12 competitions were also held, namely 1) Indonesian Speech Competition 2) English Speech Competition 3) Digital Learning Media Creation Competition 4) Non-Digital Learning Media Creation Competition 5) Modern Creative Dance Competition 6) Poetry Musicalization Competition 7) Choir Competition 8) Group Photography Competition 9) Written Futuristic Ideas Competition 10) Micro Teaching Competition 11) Archipelago Painting Competition 12) Scientific Writing Competition.<\/p>\r\n

Of the 12 competition branches, the Educational Technology Assembly Team took part in two competition branches, namely the Group Photography Competition and the Digital Learning Media Creation Competition. Five students then joined two different teams. The Education Technology Council team that took part in the Group Photography Competition consisting of M. Rizal, Arif Rahman and Ihwannul Syaqir then succeeded in winning the award as 1st Place in the Medan State University Competition of Innovation and Creation Group Photography Competition. Meanwhile, another team consisting of M. Rizal, Zairida Isra Alifa and Helmi Alfian Nurkhaliz succeeded in coming out as 3rd place winner in the Medan State University Digital Learning Media Creation Competition.<\/p>\r\n

The jury’s decision regarding the winners in the 2024 CODE event was conveyed at the 2024 PGSD National Seminar held by the Faculty of Education (FIP) Medan State University (UNIMED) on Monday, June 24 2024. The seminar had the theme “Harmonization and Improvisation of Basic Education Towards a Smart Society 5.0: Challenges and Opportunities of AI in Education\u201d presents education and technology experts. Apart from the participants who took part in the national seminar, the competition participants also attended and added to the excitement of the activity.<\/p>\r\nRizal as chairman of the Educational Technology Assembly Team expressed his gratitude for the award received and made this achievement his final offering to his beloved campus before being declared a graduate next July.\r\n

“Alhamdulillah, of course this is another achievement that we should be grateful for and be proud of together. The sixth achievement we achieved in the past month is the result of the hard work of all team members. In the midst of busy results seminars and thesis trials, I was helped a lot by the members in preparing for this competition. The achievements that the Educational Technology Council produced certainly stemmed from my personal “confusion” because I was waiting for the results seminar schedule and thesis trial. I am trying to challenge myself to provide my last 5 achievements to present to Lambung Mangkurat University. And thank God, that target has been achieved today. This is also my moral responsibility because I once held the status of 3rd Outstanding Student at Lambung Mangkurat University in 2023. I feel that after becoming Mawapres, ULM has not provided maximum achievements for our campus. I hope that this achievement can be useful and contribute to our campus, especially in increasing the KPI 2 at ULM.” he said.<\/p>\r\n

“Of the 6 achievments we made, 4 of them were from the learning media competition branch. Despite this, I did not work on a thesis entitled learning media development. I took the title of the thesis Evaluation of Teacher Performance Competency Production Skills for Television Broadcast Programs and Film Production at SMKN 3 Banjarmasin with the Model Charlotte Danielson and thank God it was defended before the thesis examiners on Thursday, June 27 2024, exactly 3 days after the announcement of the 2024 CODE competition. These six achievements are also my final offering to Lambung Mangkurat University while I was a student in the Educational Technology Study Program, FKIP ULM. Because my student status will soon end and I am now in the process of processing my judiciary. We ask for prayers from all members of the ULM community.” he said via WhatsApp message.<\/p>\r\n

It is known that in the Digital Learning Media Creation Competition branch, Rizal was already used to collaborating with Zairida and Helmi in several previous competitions. An interesting thing actually happened in the Group Photography competition branch, because of the leader of the Technology\u00a0Assembly Team\u00a0Education involves students class of 2022 who are also currently active in the Department of Communication and Information (KOMINFO) Educational Technology Student Association FKIP ULM (HIMA TEKPEND FKIP ULM).<\/p>\r\n

Arif Rahman as a member of the Educational Technology Assembly Team for the Group Photography Competition was surprised because he managed to come out as first winner.<\/p>\r\n

“This is an extraordinary and surprising thing for me because I was able to win 1st place, hopefully this can be a stepping stone for me to continue making other achievements. I am determined to continue to explore my potential and excel at every available opportunity.” he said.<\/p>\r\n

In line with Arif, a member of the Education Technology Assembly Team for the Group Photography Competition branch, Ihwannul Syaqir, also commented that the competition he was taking part in was not easy, “Online photography competitions like this have their own challenges. This is because as participants we cannot interact directly with the jury or other participants.<\/p>\r\n

“So when we received the news of victory, there was an extraordinary feeling of pride,” said this 4th semester student.<\/p>\r\n

Hopefully the achievements achieved by M. Rizal, Zairida Isra Alifa, Helmi Alfian Nurkhaliz, Arif Rahman and Ihwannul Syaqir can be a positive example for other educational technology students and can be a motivation to continue to contribute to producing proud achievements for our beloved campus and supports the increase in KPI 2, especially in terms of student activities outside campus through the achievements obtained.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
