Banjarmasin \u2013 In order to carry out the Tridharma tasks of Higher Education, namely carrying out research, Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) through the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) continues to strive to improve the quality and quantity of research and community service at ULM by holding a Workshop on Preparing a Roadmap and Strengthening Study Program Research Groups on Saturday (18\/5\/2024).<\/p>\n
The event, which was held at the Rattan Inn Hotel, invited all Heads of ULM Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Study Programs by inviting resource persons, Prof. Hamzah Fansuri, S.Si, M.Sc. Ph.D (Ten November Institute of Technology) and Prof. Dr. Muafi, S.E, M.Si (Indonesian Islamic University). Research is an important aspect in developing science, improving the quality of education, and empowering society. So that the quantity and quality of research carried out can measure the extent of the ability of teaching staff (lecturers) in developing the application of knowledge. This must of course be a common concern, especially for ULM in facilitating activities which are certainly not only beneficial for increasing the professionalism of lecturers but also the sustainability of the institution.<\/p>\n
The Workshop on Preparing Roadmaps and Strengthening Study Program Research Groups is based on the fact that there are still many study programs registered with LPPM that do not yet have roadmaps and study groups. Chairman of LPPM Prof. Sunardi explained that the roadmap is an important aspect in submitting a research proposal. “Only more than 50% (study programs) already have roadmaps and research groups, but the composition may vary,” said Prof. Sunardi. However, he added, the roadmaps collected were still limited to lecturer research roadmaps that were not related or that many were not yet correlated with the study program roadmap. “The hope is that with today’s workshop, study programs can also have a roadmap that can accommodate lecturers’ research roadmaps,” he added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
