Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) adds to the list of study programs with excellent accreditation. On Sunday (19\/5\/2024), the Internal Medicine Specialist study program at the Faculty of Medicine and Education (FKIK) succeeded in achieving Superior accreditation from the Indonesian Health Higher Education Independent Accreditation Institute (LAM-PTKes). Meanwhile, on Tuesday (21\/5\/2024) the Master of Physical Education study program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) achieved Superior accreditation from the Independent Education Accreditation Institute (LAMDIK).<\/p>\n
This achievement makes the Internal Medicine Specialist Study Program the first specialist study program at ULM to be accredited as Superior. Apart from the Internal Medicine Specialist Study Program which is accredited as Excellent, the other study programs are accredited as Very Good and only the newly established Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist Study Program has Good accreditation. The Master of Physical Education study program is contained in document Number SK 526\/SK\/LAMDIK\/AK\/M\/V\/2024 dated 17 May 2024.<\/p>\n
With the Superior accreditation status obtained by the Master of Physical Education Study Program and the Specialist Study Study Program in Internal Medicine, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Iwan Aflanie, dr. M.Kes., Sp.F., S.H., hopes that ULM can continue to make a significant contribution to the development of education and research in the field of physical education in Indonesia.<\/p>\n
“Accreditation is an important recognition of the quality of education provided by a university, and dedication to improving academic standards,” he said.<\/p>\n
He said that ULM is the only state university that has achieved superior accreditation in South Kalimantan, as well as the largest and best campus in the Kalimantan regional area. Committed to continuing to improve the quality of education and teaching.<\/p>\n
The Superior Predicate is the highest stratum of accreditation in higher education which is given to study programs with an A accreditation score and fulfills the requirements for entering the Superior predicate. It is known that currently ULM has 115 study programs. Of that number, ULM has 44 percent of study programs that have the title of Superior Accreditation or Accreditation A<\/p>\n
