Banjarbaru \u2013 Rector of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri., S.E., M.Sc., gave his appreciation and appreciation to 10 ULM professors and lecturers. The momentum for giving appreciation and awards was held at the 118th ULM graduation ceremony at the Banjarbaru Auditorium, Wednesday (24\/4\/2024).<\/p>\r\n

The awards and appreciation were given to the 10 most productive professors and lecturers in carrying out publications, research, community service, IPR (Copyright), books and networks according to the ranking of the Science and Technology Index (SINTA) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology 2024. The 10 professors and lecturers who received appreciation and awards include the following:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

  1. Muthia Elma, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., HDI with SINTA Score 3Yr 1,872 points<\/li>\r\n \t
  2. Sunardi, S.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D with SINTA 3Yr Score of 1,630 points<\/li>\r\n \t
  3. Wiwin Tyas Istikowati, S.Hut., M.Sc., Ph.D with SINTA Score 3Yr 1.069<\/li>\r\n \t
  4. Drs. Ersis Warmansyah Abbas, BA., M.Pd with SINTA 3Yr Score of 1,067 points<\/li>\r\n \t
  5. Yuslena Sari, S.Kom., M.Kom., IPM with SINTA Score 3Yr 1,067 points<\/li>\r\n \t
  6. Apip Amrullah, S.T., M.Eng with SINTA Score 3Yr 1.056<\/li>\r\n \t
  7. Drs. Eko Suhartono, M.Sc., with SINTA Score 3Yr 1,007 points<\/li>\r\n \t
  8. Chairul Irawan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., HDI with SINTA Score 3Yr 987 points<\/li>\r\n \t
  9. Misbah, S.Pd., M.Pd with SINTA 3Yr Score of 963 points<\/li>\r\n \t
  10. Iryanti Fatyasari Nata, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., HDI with SINTA Score 3Yr 941 points<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

    The ten lecturers were then called to the front of the main stage to receive appreciation and awards which were handed over directly by the Rector of ULM, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., in the form of money worth Rp. 5,000,000,- or five million rupiah. Apart from that, based on the official SINTA website of the Ministry of Education and Culture, ULM achieved 300,355 points (SINTA score 3yr) and 705,156 points (SINTA Score Overall).<\/p>\r\n

    This award is given as a form of appreciation for lecturers who have succeeded in improving their scientific publication performance. Through this award, the Rector\u00a0also seeks to provide encouragement to ULM lecturers in improving their scientific publications. The active role of lecturers in conducting research and writing scientific publications has had a positive impact on improving the quality of ULM at the national level.<\/p>\r\n

    SINTA is the official platform of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture which can provide access to data related to research publications in Indonesia. The web-based research information system offers fast, easy and complete access to measure the performance of researchers (authors), institutions (affiliates) and journals in Indonesia.<\/p>\r\n

    Making SINTA involves external systems that are integrated with each other, including publications using the Scopus, WoS, Google Scholar, and Digital Reference Garba (Garuda) databases, Research and Community Service using the Bima database, journal accreditation data using the Arjuna database, Intellectual Property data based on the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI), as well as book data based on data from the National Library.<\/p>\r\n

    Apart from the number of articles, the number of citations (citations) also influences the assessment. The more publications, research, community service, IPR and books achieved, the higher the lecturers’ SINTA ranking will be at their respective institutions.<\/p>\r\n

    It is hoped that this achievement will continue to increase in line with the development of innovative research that encourages downstreaming to answer community needs. The research-based innovation carried out by ULM is more than scientific development, but is a real contribution to solving community problems and the national agenda.<\/p>\r\n
