Banjarmasin \u2013 Rector of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., together with the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Iwan Aflanie, dr., M.Kes., Sp.F., S.H., attended the Field Assessment of the Independent Accreditation Institute for Indonesian Higher Health Education (LAMKES) at the Ulin Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Banjarmasin. The assessment which was carried out on Thursday (18\/4\/2024) was in order to improve the Accreditation of the Internal Medicine Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Lambung Mangkurat University.<\/p>\n
In this field assessment, ULM was also accompanied by the Director of RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin, dr. Diauddin, M.Kes., with his staff. He said that the process of implementing the accreditation of the FKIK ULM Internal Medicine Specialist Study Program was very important so that the Ulin Regional Hospital also stepped in to help with the preparations, starting from documentation to supporting facilities and infrastructure.<\/p>\n
This is because ULM as the only PTN in South Kalimantan and RSUD Ulin which is a type A teaching hospital in South Kalimantan have been working together for a long time in efforts to increase health resources. The Chancellor of ULM and the Director of RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin were united in expressing their commitment to improving the quality of health personnel and services, one of which is through efforts to obtain “Excellent” accreditation.<\/p>\n
In this field assessment, LAMKES sent two assessors, namely Prof. Dr. Dr. Budi Yuli Setianto, Sp.PD, K-KV, Sp.JP(K) Professor of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine UGM and Dr. Dr. I Gusti Putu Suka Aryana, Sp.PD, K-Ger, FINASIM from Udayana University. The assessment carried out in this assessment is carried out by direct observation of various accreditation assessment instruments.<\/p>\n
“This assessment will be reported directly with the hope that the results of this assessment will improve study performance so that it can be better,” he said.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, I Gusti Putu Suka Aryana as the Assessor team reminded that the main aim of this implementation was to improve the quality of a study program in the Hospital.<\/p>\n
