Banjarbaru \u2013 Commemoration of Kartini Day which falls on April 21 is a special moment for women throughout Indonesia. This is the day of women’s awakening where the struggle for women’s progress was born. In order to celebrate Kartin Day 2024, Chair of the South Kalimantan Province PKK Mobilization Team Hj. Raudatul Jannah Sahbirin Noor S.KM., M.Kes held a Women’s Planting Movement event which took place in the Tropical Forest Area of the South Kalimantan Governor’s Office, on Monday (22\/4\/2024).<\/p>\n
The activity, which was initiated by the Chair of the PKK Mobilization Team or who is now familiarly called Acil Odah, was also attended by the Governor of South Kalimantan, Sahbirin Noor, Head of SKPD, Representatives from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Banking and Higher Education in South Kalimantan. It is hoped that it can provide good impacts and benefits for the environment and also the meaning of this special date, namely gender equality. “Don’t just be able to talk, but we can also work in South Kalimantan,” said Acil Odah<\/p>\n
Lambung Mangkurat University was honored to be able to participate in the event. Present to represent the activity,\u00a0ULM \u00a0Caretaker Head of the Academic and Student Affairs Bureau Nieke Rezeki Febriyantie. Wearing kebaya<\/i><\/em>, Acil Odah invited all women, ASN and non-ASN within the Provincial Government, student and female women’s organizations and other forkopimda, to plant around 4,000 tree seedlings.<\/p>\n To liven up the event, this activity was also accompanied by a flower arranging (marunceng) competition and a rhyme competition which was attended by the acil-acil who were complete with Banjar women’s clothing, namely wearing negligees, wearing tapih <\/i><\/em>(sarong) on their heads and wet bapupur <\/i><\/em>(rice powder).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Banjarbaru \u2013 Commemoration of Kartini Day which falls on April 21 is a special moment for women throughout Indonesia.
