Banjarmasin \u2013 Tuesday (2\/4\/2024), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) IPR Center Team has taken concrete steps after meeting with the South Kalimantan Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) as a follow-up to the meeting of the Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE., M.Si and Head of the Legal and Human Rights Services Division of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) South Kalimantan (Kalsel), Ramlan Harun, S.H., M.H on Wednesday (20\/3\/2024). The ULM team coordinated by Ir. Lailan Ni`mah, M. Eng. HDI. The following are the results of the meeting:<\/p>\n

  1. PKS Between the Sub-Directorate of KI Services of the South Kalimantan Ministry of Law and Human Rights and LPPM ULM: The IPR Center Team will immediately follow up on cooperation through a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Sub-Directorate of KI Services of the South Kalimantan Ministry of Law and Human Rights and LPPM ULM. This will strengthen cooperation in managing intellectual property rights.<\/li>\n
  2. IP Services for the Community at the LPPM ULM Coworking Space: ULM will provide IP services for the community at the LPPM ULM Coworking Space. Currently, we are in the process of preparing infrastructure such as furniture, computers and internet access to support this service.<\/li>\n
  3. Training and Activation of the KI Center and KI Corner Website: The KI Center team will receive training from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights around June 2024. ULM is asked to activate the KI Center and KI Corner websites. If realized, this will make ULM the first university in Indonesia with integrated IPR services.<\/li>\n
  4. IPR Service Fees for MSMEs: IPR service fees for MSMEs must not exceed the PNBP (Non-Tax State Revenue) rate.<\/li>\n
  5. Patent Socialization and Lecturer Data: On April 18 2024, there will be socialization regarding patents at ULM. Apart from that, data on lecturers who have patents that have been commercialized will be introduced. DJKI (Directorate General of Intellectual Property) will provide a booth for 3 people.<\/li>\n
  6. Outreach to PTNs, PTS, and Regency\/City Governments: Once the center is ready, the next stage is to carry out outreach to State Universities (PTN), Private Universities (PTS), and Regency\/City Governments in South Kalimantan.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
