ULM Rector and Vice Rector Monitor UTBK Implementation
Banjarmasin – The 2025 Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) for the National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT) began to be implemented simultaneously in 74 UTBK-SNBT centers throughout Indonesia on Wednesday (23/4/2025). Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) also implemented UTBK-SNBT for 8 days until April 30, 2025.
On the first day, the leaders toured the UTBK implementation locations which were divided into 10 buildings and 25 computer laboratories on the ULM campus.
ULM Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., started from the Faculty of Economics and Business campus, while Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Iwan Aflanie, dr., M.Kes., Sp.F., SH., together with journalists checked the implementation of the exam in the Rectorate and Postgraduate buildings. In addition, the Vice Rector for Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems Dr. Ir. Yusuf Azis, M.Sc., toured the FKIP campus where 7 computer laboratories were used for the implementation of the 2025 UTBK.
The implementation of the first day of UTBK went smoothly without any significant obstacles. This year, ULM implemented UTBK with a total of 10,129 participants. There were 6 participants with disabilities, with details of 1 (one) physically disabled and 5 (five) deaf.
Dr. Iwan Aflanie said that ULM had prepared companions for participants with disabilities to help them according to their respective needs.
Each exam participant was faced with 150 questions divided into two large categories, namely the Scholastic Potential Test (TPS) of 90 questions and the Literacy Test of 60 questions. TPS consists of general reasoning, reading and writing comprehension, general knowledge and reasoning, and quantitative knowledge. Meanwhile, the Literacy Test covers Indonesian, English, and Mathematical Reasoning, each with 20 questions.
