Successful Implementation of the 8th Bouldering Contest FEB ULM: Syifa Nur Azizah Wins Champion and Faces Banten National Championship

Banjarmasin – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) through Mapala Wira Economica successfully held the 8th Bouldering Contest which took place on December 5-8, 2024 at the FEB ULM Campus. This event was attended by 87 participants from various categories and produced winners in the six categories competed.

One of the winners, Syifa Nur Azizah, a climber from Mapala Uniska, who won first place in the Individual Mapala Putri category, expressed her success thanks to intensive training over the past two months.

“I am grateful to be the champion. This event is also my preparation for the National Championship (Kejurnas) Bouldering Contest in Banten in June 2024,” said Syifa.

Syifa also hopes that events like this will be held more often, especially in South Kalimantan, to find new seeds in the field of rock climbing sports.

The chief executive, Alifia Salsabilla, expressed her appreciation for the success of this event.

“Alhamdulillah, the event went smoothly even though it was delayed due to rain. After the weather improved, the competition could be continued,” she explained. Alifia also expressed her gratitude to all participants and parties who supported the smooth running of the event.
