Workshop on Preparing Student Exchange Programs Towards World Class University

Banjarmasin – Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) held a Workshop on Preparing Student Exchange Programs Towards World Class University (WCU). The activity was held on Thursday (10/24/2024) at the Rattan Inn Hotel Banjarmasin.

Prof. Dr. Suratno, M.Pd., coordinator of the ULM MBKM program said that the activity was one of a series of activities aimed at increasing understanding of the preparation of student exchange programs, both for domestic and international purposes.

“With the change in culture and to support sustainable programs, through this workshop we hope to be able to implement MBKM in the future with better innovation,” said Prof. Suratno.

This activity presented Dr. Andi Ilham Makhmud, Dipl.Sc., MM, Executive Secretary of MRPTNI (Council of Rectors of Indonesian State Universities) as a resource person in this workshop. Through the workshop, it is hoped that participants can find new insights and discuss planning and strategies for developing student exchange programs. MBKM or Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka is a program initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud). The program aims to improve the quality of college graduates by providing opportunities for students to study outside their field of study.
